Pink Penguin VR limited was founded with the social purpose of improving social education of our future generations through the use of immersive technology (Virtual Reality) to improve the impact and outcomes of social education to give every child the opportunity they deserve. We believe effective social education will improve our society for everyone.
We're currently developing a 3d VR animation which focuses on choices young people make which have a lasting effect on their future potential.
CHILDREN AT RISK
APPROACH AND INNOVATION
Since 2015 the percentage of children 'in need' aged 10 years or over has increased from 48% to 55%, with the two “older” age categories reflecting a long term increase. In particular, the proportion of children in need aged 16 or over has increased from 18.2% to 23.2% in the last six years.
This project aims to innovate through the combination of multiple innovative technologies and approaches. Whilst this project won’t deliver a patentable end product. The application of technology and collaboration within this project has the potential to shift perspectives and the approach to social education in schools which could have a lasting impact on the UK society.
While our director Luke has direct experience working with work with excluded and those children at risk of exclusion. This represents one of the interventions for 'children at risk'.
